DESCRIPTION: This is an introductory survey of the fundamental concepts and questions concerning politics and government. The class will give an overview of political science and its subfields: American politics, political theory, public policy, comparative politics, public law, and international relations. We will also look at the history of the study of political science and the variety of career options available to political science majors.
