The SPQR Game

SPQR is an online computer game that lets you search through Ancient Rome for clues to a mystery. To begin the game, you may go to the link below. Once you're there, click on Introduction to SPQR for guidelines. The "Mysteries of SPQR" link offers further clues.

Once you've solved the mystery up to the end of Chapter I, mail me a copy of the last page using the Netscape mail program (My address: shale@gpc.edu).

Caution: Depending on your tastes and patience, the game may be addictive, interesting, frustrating, or boring. Remember that this is an extra-credit assignment (for only a point or two) and that you do have a life outside of English 203. To keep bookmarks made in the classroom or open lab, use your own diskette and set up the A drive as the source for bookmark files.
