The text from this project was derived from the sources listed below.  All of the text included in this project is basic biology and is defined as public knowledge since the information can be found in at least three sources.  While the original words of the respective publishers of the information is copyrighted material, the ideas and paraphrased information is not since it can be found in at least three sources (by definition of public knowledge).

The Images

The background was retrieved from a public clipart site and is in the public domain, a broad term used to classify the copyright status of a computer program or image.  The "Author", "Copyright", and "Contents" buttons were completely designed and created by Joshua Bond and are hereby placed into the public domain.  The "Prev" and "Next" buttons were retrieved from a public clipart site and modified 30% by Joshua Bond and remain in the public domain.
