Your paper must be typed.
There is no set length. The length of the paper will be dictated by the amount of research you do and the amount of material that you find.
You will be graded on the amount and types of information that you include in your report, and the quality with which you present it (well organized. logically thought out, neatly typed, no spelling mistakes, no grammar mistakes, nice illustrations, etc.). Do not just print out tables of boring data. Look at the data and think about what it means, and write about it. You may include planetary comparisons.
You are to use the Astronomy 101 Class Home Page to find information on the Jovian planet of your choice. Look under the topic "Solar System" for some starting points, such as the Photo Gallery of the Planets and the Multimedia Tour of the Solar System. You should also look under particular planets on down the list on the Astronomy 101 Class Home Page. Feel free to explore!
