Dr Hollier uses Clickers for classroom participation. Clickers are a classroom response system, questions are displayed on the screen and students press the button corresponding to the answer they choose. Questions will be used at the start of class/chapter covering the material in the previous class/chapter, during the class covering the material that is being taught, and at the end of the class/chapter to cover the material in that class/chapter. In laboratory classes, where Clickers are listed as required, they will also be used for laboratory quizzes. (See course syllabus for more detailed information).
The clicker brand used by the college is now Turning Technologies.
