Kristen Bell Elley was raised in Kansas and studied Spanish and Latin American Studies at the University of Kansas. After spending a year in Ronda, Spain where she worked as the American Coordinator at the Programa Internacional de Estudios Españoles she returned to the University of Kansas and completed an M.A. in Spanish Literature. Kristen has taught Spanish at the University of Texas, Arlington, Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, Texas, Emory University and currently at Kennesaw State University.
