Human Geography GEOG 1101

Mr. James V. Ebrecht

Human Geography is an introduction to the spatial activities of human beings across the globe. During this course we will investigate a number of aspects of the choices human beings make in the use of space on this planet. We will investigate our inherent spatial behaviors. Through an examination of spatial phenomena we will see the imprint man has made on the physical landscape, analyze the cultural adaptations humans have made to their environment and the impact these adaptations have on our environment. We will also assess the challenges of increasing globalization to our attempts at understanding the complex social, economic and environmental interactions facing people coexisting in a limited space.
