How Technobits Works
Technobits is a blog for the computer science classes at Georgia Perimeter College’s Dunwoody Campus. It will be used for college and class announcements, as an ongoing referral site for current events in computing, and as a forum for general course communication.
Current semester students may ask for, and receive, accounts allowing them to post to Technobits. These accounts are good for one semester only, and posting access will be disabled at the end of each semester. However, if you’re going to be in another of my classes the following semester, let me know and I will leave your account active.
When you register for an account on Technobits, you must provide a user name, a valid email address (preferably a Georgia Perimeter College email address), and your first and last name. Your name will be checked against class rolls before your registration is approved to make sure you are actually a student. This has become necessary because of the abuse of the blog’s linkroll feature during Fall Semester, 2007, by an unknown user.
It may take a day or two for your registration to be approved. Please be patient!
