Problems with the new GPC Webmail
Hello folks,
I wanted to inform you all of a problem i have just encountered with the new GPC web mail system. For those of you using Linux, (or a decent browser– such as Opera, Mozilla Firefox), you will constantly get messages about not being able to process requests (you can ignore these); however, this isn’t the issue that really annoys me. The issue i now have is that when i was trying to attach documents (on my Ubuntu-based laptop), i got the same error message; and i tried again two more times, i got the same message.
Has anyone else had this problem? When i use IE (ugh– security hole in itself), it works perfectly. I’d really like a solution on this so i don’t have to go hunt down a computer here, and use that forsaken browser.

I am going to forward this to one of our tech people who is a Linux guru. Hunter will know what’s going on and who (if anyone) is charged with taking care of this.

I don’t have a good answer for you right now, Julia. We’re looking into it, to see if we can figure out what’s going on (although I’d never heard a distinction between IE and other browsers before, so that’s an added detail we can throw into the mix). Sam and I have both experienced it in FF (although on my Mac, Camino — another mozilla-based browser for the Mac — doesn’t seem to have a problem).
