Mozilla?!

Hi, I have a question.

Why on earth (i’m not even going to touch on IE) are we using the old Mozilla browser (and I mean Mozilla not Mozilla Firefox)?

The old Mozilla browser codebase is no longer being maintained. Firefox is it’s predecessor. If you use Firefox then you gain stability and security fixes, and also the Firefox browser has a smaller memory footprint (uses less RAM) as well as an updated gecko engine. Hackers are constantly finding security bugs in browsers. If you use a browser that is not being maintained then those bugs will not be fixed.
Therefore, hackers and such will be able to take over your computer easier. Thats why it’s always extremely important to keep your browser up to date. So why are we using a browser that is no longer being updated?
