Left hand picture is an aerial photo of a sinkhole in Winterpark, Florida. The right hand picture is saprolite with aplite dikes from north of Augusta, Georgia. You can also see the soil profile in this picture. You can see the O, A, E, B, and C horizons in the soil. The saprolite is the bedrock of the soil profile.
