Sea Urchin fossil

This is a specimen of a Sea Urchin. You can see where the spines of the sea urchin attached. This creature is from the Phylum Echinodermata because it has a spiny skin. The spines are articulated in a ball and socket arrangement. The ball structure are called mamalons that the spines set on top of.
