GENERAL COURSE POLICIES:

Attendance: Regular and prompt attendance is expected.  If a student misses lectures, he /she must catch up with work missed.  Help is available during office hours.

Make-up work:  Assignment turned in late carries a 20% discount for each calendar day it is late.  If you miss an exam for cogent reasons, your final exam will be counted twice.  [Note that final exam is usually more challenging].

Cheating & Plagiarism:  The college policy on this is clear and will be strictly enforced. [See College catalog].

DISABILITY:  A student who is considered disabled as defined by the ADA, and who needs special assistance, should contact the ADA Office in A building.  The room and office phone numbers are CA-1300; (678) 891-3385.

GRADING:  Your course grade will be determined by your average in all exams and homework assignments.
Usually A = 90%; B = 80%; C = 70%; D = 60%; and F < 60%.
