Eric T. Morton, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Philosophy
Eric Morton is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Georgia Perimeter
College. He completed his Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins University in 2009, and joined the faculty at Georgia Perimeter College in 2010.
His doctoral dissertation addressed issues in contemporary epistemology, the philosophy of mind, and the philosophy of language. However, he has broad philosophical interests and his current research focuses upon Nietzsche and in topics in contemporary social and political philosophy.
In addition to his teaching and scholarship, Dr. Morton is active in the governance of the college. He is Chair of the Philosophy Curriculum Committee, a member of the Faculty Senate, a member of the Humanities Executive Council, and a member of the steering committee for the Sarah Larson Lecture Series in the Humanities.
For the Fall 2014, Dr. Morton's office hours are:
Monday and Wednesday, 10:00 to 11:00 AM and 1:00 to 4:00 PM; and
Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
